Brief

Make some art! Take inspiration from a study trip to Hamburg and turn it into a project of own choice.

Idea

At the Hamburger Kunsthalle, my attention was drawn to two paintings painted by Wilhelm Eckersberg in the 1830's. The paintings portrayed two naked men, and the first thought that hit me, was that their haircuts reminded me of the hair fashion in the 1960's from the so called Mod culture. I thought it was funny, that because the men had no clothing on, that didn't gave away the time period, they could in theory belong to the 1960's. That style, wither it's for example fashion or hair, can travel over time periods - to disappear and return.
